We own our own Aloe Vera plantations in the Rio Grande Valley, southern Texas as well as in the Dominican Republic and the Far East. Every step of the growing process is tended by expert and caring personnel, from the nursery where the "pups" are nurtured, through to the meticulously cultivated fields of mature Aloe Vera plants, and on to the carefully timed hand harvesting. Other companies offer ‘whole leaf aloe’ which has to be filtered to remove the strong laxative elements, naturally found in the outer leaf rind.
